Total Solar Eclipse, Easter Island Chile

First Contact:  1240 hours local    ---    Totality:  1408 - 1413 hours local   ---    Fourth Contact:  1534 hours local

Camera:  Canon S3IS at 12x zoom.  Mylar filter used for phases before and after totality.  No filter used during totality.

This is shortly into the eclipse.  I missed photographing anything closer to first contact because camera would not autofocus to infinity.  Note clouds!  We were sweating it out.  We were really lucky.  Totality occurred between clouds...

Totality.  Short exposure time to get the Prominances.  Sun has not been very active lately.  Prominances are not very "prominant."   :-)
