I have a 10" Meade LX-200 f/10 telescope that I bought in October of 1994. I have been using it for astrophotography. Fortunately, I live in Tempe, Arizona, where one can still find clear, dark skies only 30 to 60 miles from town. (Well, it is now 2011 and you have to go at least 100 miles from Phoenix... :-) )

There are links to the left showing my early progress with astrophotography starting with film and then moving on to CCD cameras.

There are also links to other interests I have which include travel (Galapagos Islands, Australia, New Zealand, Antarctica, Alaska, Hawaii, Tahiti, Easter island, etc.), music (I play Scruggs-style 3-finger bluegrass banjo), photographs of flowers, and technical papers I wrote.
